Junction Bible Christian Church - FaithStreet

A rich history and strong tradition anchors the relevant message and meaningful ministry meeting today's needs!

Junction Bible Christian Church as it was first built as a Methodist Church to serve the "boon town" of Junction in 1858.

During this time, the canal system was the primary way to move people and merchandise into the frontier. Junction was the point of service where the Erie and Miami Canals joined to go either North or South, or go back East. For a long time this was as far West as one could travel in relative safety.

The Church's purpose was to serve the town's people in their needs for worship and assistance as well as help the traveler who found themselves in need here. In those days there were plenty of "sinners" to reach out to as well, and the stories of such adventures are still passed down through time by some of the original families who still attend and worship here.

Of course, the needs of those days aren't too different than the needs of today...

Our church continues today as the oldest and longest continually serving church in Paulding County.

We remain even more relevant today!
