Splashes of rain on my window distorts my view, I can barely see the tiny snowflakes swirling about! I wonder how much of our lives are lived with a distorted view?
Mark Twain once said, "Don't part with your illusions, for when they are gone you may still exist, but you will have ceased to live."
"Illusions", according to Webster is a "False perception, conception, or interpretation of what one sees."
We are not to practice falsehood and we're not to escape reality thinking it will make life easier... believe me when I say, "It doesn't!" Withdrawing from life and reality only hinders and serves to destroy us! **
So... we need to turn to Him and desire His will (not our own) for our (His) Life! Then, and only then "His Glory SHALL be revealed in us!" (Rom 8:18 NKJV)

** Pastor's Note: Christ Jesus knew this of life and of us, this is why he calls to us "Come, let me overcome it". He has, after all "overcome the world".
