This winter has been cold, dark, bleak, and my heart is lonesome for springtime and all the joy it brings!
It should not be, but the Lord just seems more present in a sense when the glory of His creation is more visible and active... of course I know He has been with me even in the cacoon of winter, but I can't help sometimes feeling this way.
A friend of mine testified to me just the other morning that "God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in Him."
And so it should be, even in the dead of winter, even before the rebirth of Spring and Easter...
For His glorious resurrection should be a celebration for every season! After all, He made them all.
"Behold, and the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud" (Exod 16:10b)
