An old Adage goes like this: "No news is good news"
You yourself have probably heard this more than once and said it more than a couple of times. This adage continues and is current with our times.
All secular news channels and outlets have plenty to announce and for the most part its "bad news". Staying informed is one thing, but constantly feeding on it is another. It does nothing but deplete us then fill us with doubt and fear!
Psalm 64 contraststhe wicked and the righteous and compares their destinies. The arrogance of the wicked and their plots against the righteous is a continuing theme.
The wicked do not know (or they do not care) that there is One who sees and who will repay.
When we have confident trust in Him, our concerns can be cast aside and we can rest in His Sovereign Will for our lives.
The next time you find yourself opressed by the 'Bad News", read the "Good News" that is the Holy Bible and rejoice in Him!
